PHASE II
Phase II reports are typically limited in nature and are usually the result of a Recognized Environmental Condition (RECs) being found during a Phase I inspection during a real estate transaction. The Phase II is only initial screen of soil and/or groundwater, in order to determine if contamination is present. If contamination is found to exceed federal, state or local cleanup or human-health risk standards, a further site characterization is required, in order to help establish the vertical and lateral extent of a contamination plume

Phase III Environmental Assessment
When the results of the Phase II assessment indicate that hazardous chemicals are present, JBA's agreements with leading environmental remediation firms allows JBA to follow through from site characterization into remedial investigation, design and construction.
